Outdoor weddings

We host outdoor weddings at North Haltey in the Eastern Townships

Just 90 minutes from Montreal and 15 minutes from Sherbrooke, Station Chêne Rouge is more than just a wedding destination; it's a close-to-home getaway that transports your guests into a world of their own. Its 47 acres of unspoiled nature offer panoramic views, crystal-clear spring-fed ponds and peaceful meadows. To complete your experience, we also offer "glamping" accommodation in our rustic chic micro-chalets, romantic to the core.

By reserving the Station Chêne Rouge for your wedding, you gain exclusive access to this enchanting environment. This allows you to live the moment to the full and celebrate your love in complete privacy, surrounded by your most cherished loved ones.

Nestled atop a mountain in the picturesque North Hatley region of the Eastern Townships, Station Chêne Rouge is the ideal location for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Its vast outdoor space offers a beautiful, flexible setting for both intimate weddings and more grandiose celebrations.

What's more, our open-air accommodations, such as glamping mini-chalets and safari tents, allow your guests to extend their stay and take full advantage of the magical ambience of our estate.

In short, if you're looking for a unique, intimate venue with a spectacular backdrop to make your wedding a memorable event, Station Chêne Rouge in North Hatley is the perfect choice. Let the splendor of the Eastern Townships illuminate your union and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Frequently asked questions

How to cope with unpredictable weather, especially rain?

It's always a good idea to have a back-up plan, such as renting a marquee or having another indoor venue available. At La Station, we have a covered pavilion.

Are there any restrictions on buying alcohol at the Station?

Food, alcohol and event planning are at your discretion and do not necessarily need to be purchased from us.

Are there any noise restrictions for outdoor weddings?

Yes, most municipalities have noise bylaws that dictate the volume and time at which music can be played. We ask that the volume of music be reduced considerably by 9 p.m., and that it no longer be played by 11 a.m.

What clothing is recommended for guests, given temperature variations?

It's often a good idea to inform guests of the outdoor nature of the wedding in the invitation, so that they can dress appropriately. This may involve layers of clothing for cooler temperatures, or sun protection for summer events.
