Safari Tents — Unique Glamping in North Hatley
The safari tents at Station Chêne Rouge offer a unique glamping experience in the Eastern Townships. Six tents inspired by camps in Africa and South America, each uniquely decorated, are situated on the hills above North Hatley with views of the forest. Tents are assigned at random upon arrival.
This is the most picturesque accommodation in the area—just 15 minutes from Sherbrooke, 10 minutes from North Hatley, and 1.5 hours from Montreal.
New — Propane heating included
All six safari tents are now equipped with propane heating at no extra charge. Cool spring and fall nights are no longer a problem. Comfort is guaranteed from the start of the season to the end.
There is no electricity or running water in the tents. Restrooms and showers are available at the clubhouse. Everything will be ready for your arrival—bedding, furniture, and ambient lighting.

Safari tents are the perfect choice for couples and pairs who want an immersive nature experience without having to plan a camping trip. The safari style creates an atmosphere that no cabin or lodge can replicate: sleeping under canvas, listening to the sounds of the forest, with the comfort of a real queen-size bed and the warmth of propane.
Station Chêne Rouge is a private country club featuring a saltwater pool, hiking trails, a campfire area, and access to the resort’s activities—kayaking, paddleboarding, mountain biking, and gravel biking.
Pet-friendly glamping
Your pet stays for free in the safari tents. No extra charge. Limit of two pets per reservation; pets must be kept on a leash at all times on the property. Station Chêne Rouge is one of the few pet-friendly glamping destinations in the Eastern Townships.
