Welcome to the Red Oak Station
Rental of rustic chic and ecological micro-cottages, telecommuting in nature and event deprivation.
Located 15 minutes from Sherbrooke, 10 minutes from North Hatley and 1 hour 45 minutes from Montreal, the Red Oak Station offers nature experiences, a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and an immersion in the forest.
We invite you to experience a rejuvenating experience in ecological micro-cottages, to use our facilities for your private or corporate events and to make a simple and effective telecommuting experience, always and totally in contact with nature.
Whatever your reason, our rustic chic environment offers you a privileged contact with the forest, the wildlife and a unique opportunity to observe the starry sky in the middle of nature.
Visitors' responsibilities and rules
Station Chêne rouge offers experiences in nature, in the mountains and in the forest. In this regard, we assume no responsibility for early departures, cancellations or changes in reservations due to environmental conditions or any other reasons beyond our control (temperature, weather and/or road conditions, snow, cold, ice or freezing, natural disasters, high temperatures, wild animals, forest fires, floods, etc.)
Since we are inviting you to live one or more experiences in the wilderness and since it is uncontrollable, we recommend that you consult the weather forecast so that you bring the required and adequate equipment to fully enjoy your stay .
We are committed to doing everything possible to make your glamping (glamorous camping) experience enjoyable and we expect full cooperation from you for the benefit of all.
- Security
We do everything we can to make our trails safe.
Since we are inviting you to live one or more experiences in the wilderness and since it is uncontrollable, we recommend that you consult the weather forecast so that you bring the required and adequate equipment to fully enjoy your stay .
Injuries caused by your activities are your responsibility. A first aid kit is available at the reception.
- Waste and recycling
In order to reduce our ecological footprint as much as possible, we have recycling bins available at the reception desk. We count on your cooperation to use them. Thank you for not leaving any waste in your micro chalet.
- The pets
We're proud to be pet-friendly.
Since the opening of our resort, our founders have always wanted to offer a pet-friendly place.
By doing so, we help pets and their owners to never be separated from each other while traveling. We are proud to be a pet-friendly company.
For us, it's the way to live a real holiday all together!
Pets are allowed on the site for the rental of the micro glamping chalet at a cost of $35 per stay.
We allow pets in all of our micro-cabins, and they must be under the control of their owner at all times.
In order to preserve the peace and quiet of other guests, please do not leave pets unattended outside at night. If necessary, please bring a cushion or crate for them.
Pets are not allowed in the pool area or in the sanitary block (showers and toilets).

Modification of reservation
The reservation holder may make a change to his/her reservation, free of charge and subject to availability, if the change is made more than fifteen (15) days prior to the reservation date.
In the case of a change made less than fifteen (15) days before the reservation date, the change will be processed according to availability, but may also be refused.
No changes can be made less than fifteen (7) days before the date of the reservation.
We assume no responsibility for early departures, cancellations or changes in reservations due to environmental conditions or any other reasons beyond our control (temperature, weather and/or road conditions, snow, cold, ice or freezing temperatures, natural disasters, heat, wildlife, forest fires, floods, etc.)
- Noise
For the well-being of all, we ask you to stop playing music and to speak in a low voice after 10pm.
- Reservation and cancellation policy
Regular rate: The full amount of your stay will be charged (Accommodation tax, GST, QST and other purchases).
Promotional Rate: By selecting a promotional rate, the full amount of your stay will be charged. The promotional rate is non-changeable, non-refundable and non-transferable at all times.
Cancellation MORE THAN fifteen (15) days prior to the reservation date: In the case of a complete or partial cancellation by the reservation holder, for any reason whatsoever, 25% of the total payment will be retained and the balance will be refunded to the holder.
Cancellation LESS THAN fifteen (15) days prior to the reservation date: In the case of a cancellation, complete or partial, made by the holder of the reservation, for any reason whatsoever, 50% of the total payment will be retained and the balance will be refunded to the holder.
Cancellation LESS THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF RESERVATION: For any cancellation or modification, complete or partial, made by the holder of the reservation, and this, for any reason whatsoever, the total amount of the reservation will be retained. This same policy will also apply in the case of a no-show on the day the reservation begins.
Non-refundable rate:
The full amount of your stay will be charged (lodging tax, GST, QST and other purchases). This rate is non-refundable.
Station Chêne Rouge assumes no responsibility for reservation cancellations or changes due to environmental conditions or other reasons beyond our control (temperature and road conditions, natural disasters, forest fires, floods, etc.).
Please note that we cannot guarantee a specific unit in the category of accommodation you have booked.
- Promotions
Where several promotions are in force, only one is applicable at the time of booking. Please note that they cannot be combined. Other conditions may apply.
- Fire and wood
Wood packages ordered at the time of booking will be delivered to your ecolodge. It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to bring in wood from outside, to avoid introducing harmful insects and diseases to the site. One piece of firewood can destroy thousands of trees. However, fires in fireplaces equipped with spark arrestors will be allowed.
Insurance and damage
You are responsible for your personal belongings.
Chêne Rouge is not responsible for personal belongings left unattended in the chalet.
You are personally responsible for any damage that occurs during your stay. To report a breakage, please contact us as soon as possible. You are also responsible for your personal belongings. In case of injury, always contact your insurance company. La Station Chêne Rouge cannot be held responsible in any way.
We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damage or extensive cleaning that occurs as a result of your stay. If you discover any problems on arrival, please inform us as soon as possible to avoid any damage being charged to your account.
All appliances, utensils and dishes are provided. Any missing items will be charged to the customer.
Obligation of the Station Chêne Rouge
In the event of an unforeseen event or natural disaster, Red Oak Resort will make every effort to locate an equivalent micro-cottage on its premises. If this is not possible, we will assist in locating a comparable rental property in the area. Red Oak Resort will not be held responsible or liable for such events.
The Red Oak Resort will not be held responsible for any event resulting in death, injury, loss of personal items or damage to personal property of the Hirer or their guests.
No refunds will be given for unforeseen events (power failure, internet failure, lack of water, septic tank problem). Please keep in mind that our cabins are not equipped with generators.
In addition, pool maintenance requires regular water changes. La Station Chêne Rouge ensures that the water quality is adequate, but the temperature upon arrival may be less than ideal. Thank you for your understanding!
Your verbal or written permission at the time of booking (online or by telephone), together with payment of the booking and/or possession of the property, demonstrates your acceptance of our policies and your intention to use the property as a rental.
