An expansion project is currently underway for Station Chêne rouge, a lodging company specialized in glamping (glamorous camping), following its acquisition by new owners. The objective of this project is to create a vacation village experience in the heart of nature focused on relaxation, rejuvenation, event-based activities and agri-tourism. Position: Customer Experience Operations Manager

If you have a passion for nature and technology, an infectious spirit, and a desire to contribute to a challenging project, this is the position for you! As an assistant to the general manager, you will ensure an optimal experience by meeting the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.

As the "face" of the company, you'll be responsible for operations and the customer experience, building strong relationships with the public. You'll represent the first point of human contact with customers and visitors, and an efficient, well-organized reception service will ensure their satisfaction, perpetuating the essence of the Station Chêne rouge brand. 

Role and Responsibilities Customer Experience Operations Manager (Front Office Manager for Glamping)

  1. To offer a personalized service adapted to the preferences of the customers by using the technological tools of the company, while ensuring an excellent communication before, during, and after the stays.
  2. Collaborate with the Executive Director to manage the budget and expenses (including payroll expenses), while developing and empowering the team with technology.
  3. Build your team: hire, develop, coach, coordinate, and control your team members, and train the team on the company's IT tools.
  4. Ensure sound management of the department (work distribution, scheduling, supervision, performance evaluation, conflict management, etc.).
  5. Maintain daily records and reports in the computer system.
  6. Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by working closely with the housekeeping team to ensure quality service.
  7. Participate in various management meetings. (Department Heads Meeting, Sales Optimization, and other various meetings).
  8. Act as an example and spokesperson by adhering to the standards and innovation established by the company as well as the company's values.

Qualifications or Skills Needed:

  1. Customer service and teamwork skills.
  2. Motivating and mobilizing leadership that promotes productivity.
  3. Attraction to startups and computer software.
  4. Degree in hotel management, relevant field, or experience in a similar job.
  5. Interest in transforming the way traditional industries operate.
  6. Perfectly bilingual, both orally and in writing.
  7. Ability to train and supervise staff while maintaining a harmonious climate.
  8. Knowledge of the Sherbrooke region, its tourist, sports, cultural and gourmet attractions.
  9. Ability to solve daily problems and provide solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and employee well-being.
  10. Multitasking, prioritizing and maintaining serenity.
